Membership in the National Council of Women of
Canada is open to any individual woman or organization of men and
women that believes in the mission and values
of NCWC.
There are a number of ways to participate in the
work of the National Council of Women of Canada. The following descriptions
provide you with a few more details on each option; however, to explore
membership further, we recommend that you contact
our national office.
· There are Local Councils
in 18 cities across Canada, 2 Study Groups and 5 Provincial
Councils. They welcome individuals and organizations as members.
· Interested in starting a Local Council or Study Group in
your area? We can help you…
· You represent a National Organization whose work is national
in scope and whose aims are in harmony with those of NCWC? There
are twenty-seven National Organizations,
which are currently affiliated with NCWC. Join us to network and
to work on common issues.
· You are interested in joining as an individual member of
NCWC. This is a new category of membership, and it is now possible
to join the National Council as an individual member. You can print out the application form and complete. We welcome
your inquiries.
· You are a young woman, possibly a student, and would like
to be involved in the work of NCWC. Click here to see the student/youth application form. A youth is defined as between
the ages of 16 and 25. A student is defined as full time at a post
secondary educational institution.
Members of National Council pay annual fees as
approved by the voting body. This includes Local Councils, Provincial
Councils, Study Groups, National Organizations and Individual Members.
The current NCWC membership fees are as follows:
Local Councils of Women
$50.00 plus $5.00 for each Organization Member and $2.00 for each
Individual Member.
Provincial Councils of Women
$50.00 plus $5.00 for each Organization Member and $2.00 for each
Individual Member.
Study Groups
$10.00 plus $2.00 for each member
National Organizations
$150.00

$25.00
